Wow talk about crazy looking. I found this sick looking fish today. All i can say is major score :D. What do you think? Looks like something that comes from those abyss dives. It has no known common name but they have been referred to as "prehistoric jaw fish" the scientific name is "Acanthocepola indica". Can't find much info on them and only a few crappy pic's as well. Any suggestions ppl can give will be more then welcomed. He built his hole at the base of my rock work in a rock that already has a hole in it. My sand bed is about 8" deep and he berried about 5" into it.

These are coming in from Sri Lanka, rather a lot of them for that matter.
They come in with their tails eroded, though they quickly seem to grow back. They quickly adapt to eating hikari mysis. Also got a different species from Bali that was purple and gold, but was unable to identify it to species.
