I have a pair of bimacs that share their aquaria with a few other fish, a reef lobster, a serpent starfish, a rock anemone & several tube anemones, so I don't know if this qualifies as a FOWLR or not.
The bimacs have been the dominate fish in the tank for the 7 months they've been in it.
Recently, we've reduced the photoperiod from 12 hrs to 6 hrs due to a cyano outbreak. Just after lights on today, we did a 10% water change.
The male's color changed from it's usual deep, solid pink to vivid alternating pick & orange stripes (not the pale stripes you see when they are stressed). He displayed to the female, shimmying his tail for about 15 minutes. Then they aligned themselves side to side with their heads pointing in the same direction & shimmied together several times over a half hour period.
