Any experience with these fish? I realize both are near impossible to keep and feed mostly on coral polyps...what is their coral(s) of choice to feed on?

I believe they feed primarily on sps coral. That means that they'll feed on acropora, monitpora, pocillopora, etc... You would need a constant supply of these coral to keep them alive since they are grazers. Their nutritional needs will not be met if they are eating frozen foods or flakes. I don't recommend you keep either fish unless you're willing to pay more for the fish's dinner than for your own.

i am looking for specifically what types of corals they feed upon so i can be sure to increase my stock of them in my tank if i happen to find a nice specimen.

i have plenty of SPS to offer them...but it would be nice to know from reefers more specific info e.g. "mine seemed to prefer my a.valida and a.millepora"

i have kept obligate polyp eaters before, ime as long as there is enough coral to keep them fat and spread the damage they can settle in quite well. challenging, but extremely rewarding.

Never tried keeping them of course, but in the wild C. ornatissimus seems to live in areas dominated by various Pocillopora and Porites spp. Lunulatus appears to like a lot of Montipora. We don't have any Acropora in Hawaii.

IMO it's probably most important to use the fastest-growing corals you can find; I don't think either species is very picky about what it eats so any SPS should do.
