I got two specimens of Cirrhilabrus marjorie this afternoon (around 14:00) in April 22, 2007. The first import to Japan.
Top; female, about 70mm and
Bottom; male, 80mm; both from the central Fiji Islands.
The male is still in colors of fear at the bottom. The female is freely swimming around the tank and accepting foods well. I will show more photos of the male tomorrow.
This species is endemic to Fiji and dwells at the depths between 20-50 meters and was described by Allen, Randall & Carlson, 2003. Males will reach 8cm, and females sometimes are larger than males in a harlem.
