When I worked for the Shedd aquarium 25 years ago, on collecting trips, my curator kept us busy collecting the Atlantic sweeper (Pempheris schomburgki), in the Bahamas. We would go out at night and gather them up from inside caves, but they rarely made it through the drawn-out process of getting them back to Chicago. I always thought this was whole a lot of work for a rather drab fish. This Pacific species is much nicer looking - more worth the effort!
We have been talking about these guys for a while now - we would like 500 for the big reef. From what I understand they ship terrible, thus the high price. I was tempted to try these 10 for my home tank, but no monies this time of year for that!
