My male Rhomboid wrasses has died
For the past three days, he was moping around very lethargic and jumpy at any movement. Today, he's disappeared completely.
Some months ago, the male Rhomboid lost its appetite completely and did not eat for at least 2 weeks straight. Then it slowly began to eat until it developed a regular appetite. However, as much as it ate, it never gained weight or grew like the other fish in the tank. I wonder if it had an internal parasite.
I'm not going to try to keep multiple Cirrhilabrus wrasses in this tank anymore. It is entirely possible that the C.earlei - who recently has become more aggressive in courting the female - stressed the male Rhomboid to the point of death.
RIP
