LOL ALex if I'm stopping by it's at 3 or 4 in the morning when I am doing a 7/11 run up the block from you you might get a little mad at me for the time :). I'll just keep an eye on your office and make sure nobody messes with it.

Congrats.

Are they the ones in the smaller tank? Or else, I don't think they stand a chance in the bigger tank. If they are really in the bigger tank, I think you should consider moving them. Anyway, I woul visit you after the current project. Expect end of next week.

Actually, I'm often coming home early in the morning-babies are born 24 hours a day/7 days a week. I have a flashlight near the tank. If i'm not too exhausted, I look at the aquarium nightlife-totally different creatures come out at night. Thanks for watching the office and not stopping me for speeding at 2am on the way to Sinai.

Alex, my clowns have been laying eggs for over a year. They hatch on the 9th day. The 11th day they lay another clutch. The funny thing is, for the past 3 or 4 weeks, they didn't go through the cycle :sad2: I thought they were done laying eggs. Just yesterday, same as yours, they laid their eggs again. Wonder if it's the moon cycle?

Anyway, in my 75g, where the clowns are, the newly hatched fry don't stand a chance. You'd have to set up a small 5-10g breeder. All they need is an airstone and a heater. The headache arises when you have to feed. The first food they need is live rotifers. That becomes a pita. That's why I've never raised them.

BTW, on the 9th day, when the eggs hatch, it always happens at about 2-2.5 hrs after lights out. I check the tank with my trusty red LED flashlight and invariably they'll be swimming about. Next morning, they're all gone :(
