When I read it my thought was that Dana likes the Clades with few Subclades.

Hi,
Thanks for reading along. What I meant is that I have speant a lot of time in school and at work studying the evolutionary relationships of different animals. To me, the clades (grouping of organisms) are a great way to analyze them.
Analogy- I like talking about wrasses, angelfish, or tangs. However I don't really like talking about red fish, blue fish, or green fish. The reason is I don't see much use in comparing all red fish, but I do see use in comparing all the wrasse.

Does that make sense? So in terms of coral I'd prefer to look at how they are related, and not just by how much light they need.

Thanks again for reading and asking!
Adam
