Your new specimen is a variant from southern Vanuatu around Tanna Island. Hoode Fairy Wrasse is a northern variant. I am now studying and separating these into two.

Yes, it is apparently an undescribed species from Fiji and Tonga, that we are preparing a paper to name it.
