Is it safe to feed your fish fresh chopped Garlic? I'm aware that Garlic makes their immune system stronger. I'm currently having a little ick outbreak ever since my Emperor died. I do soak their food in Zoe and Garlic extract every other day I feed them. Thanks!

What I have done in the past is mash it up ,then I put it in cloth (thin cotton will do ,make sure is clean and you rinse the part your going to use so you don't get other chemicals in the water),then I squeeze the juice into a little container soak the food even drop some in the tank .It won't harm corals or fish.

I used to chop up garlic, maybe mince is the word, and mix it in with their food. my fish would eat the garlic pieces by themselves, they loved it.

I basically take fresh garlic and cut it up into small pieces. I then place it in a bottle with water and lets it soak over night. I then drain the water into a cup and soak the food in the water for a while. At that point I just feed the food to the fish.

Remember a lot of the prepared food now a days has garlic in it, so it's not really necessary to add more garlic to it.

Plenty of people feed fresh garlic to their fish and they eat it just like any other greens that you would feed them.

I actually put the chunks of garlic on the food. Some fish eat up the garlic. All seem to be as healthy as ever with zero ich and my crew of tangs go frantic as soon as I stand up because they think its feeding time. Ive been doing this for about year with nothing but positive results.
