Hi I'm new to the marine game and I just have a question for someone that has a Fumanchu dwarf lion or a fuzzy

Im setting up a 200g semi-reef aquarium with 100lbs of live rock (starting). Its basically going to be a fish only except with low-moderate light corals and such. My favorite fish have always been lions. Anyway I'm loving the smaller fish as well as my lions and was wondering the size range a dwarf lion can fit into his mouth. This will help me decide between going for a huge center piece lion/larger tank mates or a dwarf/choice smaller fish ect.

IE can an adult dwarf fully swallow damsels, chromis, pseudo, firefish, different shrimp ect.

Thanks all

Dendrochirus biocellatus ( Fu Manchu Lionfish ) grow to about 5" and it's good your going with lower light corals as Lions in general don't tolerate bright lights well.

All the items you mention above could be eaten by an adult dwarf. They're amazingly adept at eating their tankmates. It's best to go with larger peaceful fish with your Lion.
