Hi all,

I'm currently running a 55g tank, with an A. Ocellaris swimming about all by his lonesome. :( I'm planning on adding a couple more fish next month, and was curious what your thoughts might be. Eventually, I'd like to have:

2 A. Ocellaris
1 Long Finned Fairy Wrasse
1 Yellow Candy Hogfish

Is this going to be too many fish?
Was planning on putting the other Ocellaris & either the wrasse or the hogfish in QT in a few weeks... tnx for your replies.

There shouldn't be overcrowding with this amount and species of fish. I'd put the ocellaris in first, then the hogfish, then the wrasse.

 GIANTOTTER,
FOOD FOR THOUGHT TO HELP YOU WITH YOUR 55. I HAVE A 150 & 55 GAL. RUNNING AT THIS TIME. ON MY 55 GAL. I HAVE A WET/DRY SYSTEM, IN-SUMP PROTEIN SKIMMER AND A U/V LIGHT. I HAVE 50 LBS. OF DEAD CORAL, SOME FAKE PLANTS, A LARGE ARROWHEAD CRAB, A LARGE HERMIT CRAB, BLUE TANG, SAILFIN TANG, MAROON GOLD CLOWN, (ALL LARGE), MOONDAMSEL AND A DRAGON WRASSE. WHO ARE ALL QUIT COMFORTABLE IN THEIR 55 GAL. HOME.
JUST TO LET YOU KNOW, YOUR LONG FINNED FAIRY WRASSE AND YELLOW CANDY HOG FISH ARE BOTH IN THE WRASSE FAMILY. THE TANG FAMILY AND WRASSE FAMILY INTERACT WELL, SO THIS WILL GIVE YOU A WIDE RANGE OF FISH TO SELECT FROM.
