Hi All,
Just collected my first batch of fry(pics to follow) just not sure my food cultures are strong enough yet, wish me luck, any other ideas as far as feeding??...
Nicole
Just posting an update. I lost the first batch but seem to be doing good with the second. I am at 9 days and they seem to be starting meta. Here are a few pics, sorry for the quality but they are tiny!!
you were very lucky to catch the timing with your cam."NICE WORK" !......ya know , this is exactly what the govener want to tax now .... downloading "FISH PORN":tongue1:........I found what works for me with raising fry was trial and error .I also had my head spinnin with advice from everyone but listen to yourself Nicole, and you will be rewarded with a nice clutch of clowns that "Will get around thanks to your pataince. When there ready, I love to own one of your proud little guys.
wo ah ah aow. wow. My friend just got into reefing and he said he'd like to go back to school to become a marine biologist but he doesnt know bout starting so late in life..I'm sure raising his on fry will leave him satisfied. Good luck Nicole!
That's soooo awesome! I wish my Percs would do that. How long have you had them before they began spawning? Did you buy them together as a pair or just as 2 fish?
Haven't posted here in forever. Unfortunately a sad day, I came home from work to find my female had somehow managed to get stuck between my canopy and the overflow mesh cover. my male has eaten their latest batch of eggs and is looking for her. I have had the pair for over 6 years. I am looking to replace her, even though I know it will not be that simple. If any vendors or members have a female available, please let me know. Thanks in advance, sorry just had to vent.
Nicole
Sorry for you lose, what a shame.
I think you may be better off looking for a male that is smaller than yours. Your male will start to change into a female at some point (I am assuming that skunks change sex like other clowns that I know of)
Nicole, so sorry to hear about your loss. I'm guessing I had the pleasure of meeting this pair. Best of luck replacing it. Definitely look to get yourself a tiny one that hasn't morphed into a female yet.

The loss definetly sucks. Russ you did see them, they were one of the main reasons for my upgrade a while back (still see one in the near future I hope)!
