First and formost, i would like to extend my apologies to those that were kind enough to render advice when i need and in return been absolutely pissed. Anyway, wats done cannot be undone. I have released the Purple Tang into the main tank. After a short squabble, both Tangs are swimming and feeding alongside without signs of stress nor aggression. I feed them a good variety of frozen and live food including red seaweed by two little fishes. Hope you guys are happy for me. Other than returning the Tangs to the shop, i welcome any further advice to make the Tangs as healthy as posible.

How big is your tank again? You said it was 22 gallons, but I have never heard of a tank that size.

I'm hoping that was a typo and your tank is 220 gallons. Is that correct?

If not, I would recommend catching the fish, draining the tank, removing the right, rear, and front panes and replacing them with much larger pieces of glass. Once the tank has been increased to a good size (let's say 120+ gallons) then you can refill and leak test it, then replace your live rock, live sand, and after the tank re-cycles, your fish.

I hope this is of some assistance to you.

Cheers
James

This is actually a taller version of the typical two feet tank. I don't know if it is available in your country but this dimension is pretty common in Singapore. In case you are wondering why i started my posting with apologies, pls refer to the pld post titled Red Sea puple Tang and Hawaii Yellow Tang in 22 Gal. Due to space constraints however, I cannot upgrade to a bigger tank which many think is best for the 2 zebrasome Tangs.

It may take a little time but you will loose one and possibly both tangs in that tank. I have a 65G and I wont touch one with a 10 foot pole. Even the larger dwarf angles cause me concern....
