Maybe :) LOL. Seriously, I had a Red Sea Regal for several years and it never bothered anything, clams, LPS, SPS etc. It passed on, when an old system of mine crashed. I tried a large Indo one some time later and it chomped 3 lobes of my prized red lobo ( you know the one) in about 3 hours.

If I were going to try it, I'd make sure it was eagerly and greedily eating prepared foods before I put it into the main display. Not a sure thing, but a hungry fish is much more likely to eat what it wants to than a fish that is happy with what you provide it. It really is a tough call.

i have one that hasn't harm sps, hammer, frogsp, clams, gorg, mush, xenia, leather(occasional nips).
i have seen it attack: hydroids, sponges.
any angel is a risk, but i feel as precious as the RS regal is, it is worth it.
yours is quite a little beauty.

Dave, I've had mine for about a year and a half, he's from sumatra the indian ocean side, yellow belly really nice color.
he's been a model citizen, he's picked at a leather coral every now and than.
he eats anything I feed the fish, frozen, dry, alage, lettuce etc.
my Asfur on the other hand devours zoos hasnt touched anything yet. when I finally do the switch to the new tank he's going he's growen to about 6"
regal is a solid 5" grew almost 2" in the year and a half I have him.
make sure you get him used to outside feeding before you put him in the tank

updated: i sold my regal due to clam nipping. just like many have said; changed her taste after about a year of being almost a perfect angel. :(
no regrets. i knew the risk n had a good year with it. i only wish i had another tank for it.
