it will be easier to take all the corals out & set upa smaller tankl with enough lighting. Hyposalinity is the best way, THER ARE NO MIRACLE CURES!!!! even hyposalinity doesnt always help. do a search in RC, there is already a good compilation. if you dont have a UV get one, this also helps. also try recall where you purchased your live stock, it would be best to use some sort of QT when introducing new fish if you continue to buy from that store, or from any store for that matter. I have tried and failed in using all "reef safe" cures, some were luckier than I was. good luck!

i had ick in my tank and i did not take out anything. Use triple if not more the normal dosage of garlic in the food. break up normal feed into two portions and feed twice a day. you can add a little more food then half the feeding to make sure they eat well. I also raised the temp 2 degrees in my tank. If you can get a uv light that will also help. if you can also try and but at least two more cleaners. they relly helped in my tank. i have about 12 in a 180 tank.

I'm not saying this wont work because this is the best method and them treat them with copper. But i would have to break my tank down completely to take out all my fish and i'm sorry, but if that's what it would take to save the fish in my tank i would have to see my self buy some new fish about 4 months after they all die. don't think i don't care for my fish because there's nothing i like to do more then make sure i do everything to keep them healthy. but try to catch them will be a larger lost in my tank then trying to treat them inside the tank.

I actually have a 180 FOWLR with agressive fish in it. I've never had an ich outbreak (knock on wood) and part of that is (I think) because I feed them food that is soaked over night in Garlic Guard and Zoe. It provides them with a strong immune system and always a good appetite. I also have a UV running 24/7. DACEMAN89 is certainly right about taking out all the fish especially when you have such a big tank with so much live rocks.

I use about half of cup of fresh (filtered) water and put half of cap (from bottle of Zoe and Garlic Guard) and mix it together with the food. I leave it over night and feed the next day, but you can feed the same day as well if you let the food absorb the Zoe and Garlic Guard for about half hour to an hour.
