anthias are not an easy fish to keep.from what i've read they dont live long,i read somewhere that some dont live over 90 days more or less.i had one that ate but its stomache never filled out.poor thing died after some time.i would never get anthias again, unless it came from an established tank and thats been around along time, other than that imo there not easy to keep.

I currently have both square-back and disbars, trio of each and IMO makes a difference. The square-backs I've had for over a year now and the disbars for about 3 months, both eat flake and frozen mysis. I think where most people have problems is the feeding, they need to be feed twice a day. I'd start with either a trio of Lyretails or Disbars as they take to flake faster.
