I have a 75g set up with mostly softies and LPS. At present I have a pair of Tomato Clowns and a couple of small damsels.
I want to add something larger/ a center-piece fish ..... but can't decide what!!!
I was thinking of 3 anthias, but I got scared off by their feeding requirements.
I was thinking of a blue girdle angel, but its not reef safe.

What do you think ..... about an auriga butterflyfish, or sailfin tang?
Any other suggestions?

Excerpt:

"Black Cap Basslets can become territorial once established, so they should not be kept with other basslets. Because they tend to be deep-water dwellers, they do better in an aquarium with slightly subdued lighting.

Although not overly aggressive, they will vigorously defend their favorite hole or interstice, chasing fish away that venture to near. Best kept with less belligerent tankmates. If you want to keep more than one, add them simultaneously to a larger tank with plenty of hiding places."

Regal angel (iffy, but hands down my favorite possibly reef-safe fish)
Kole or Tomini tang
flasher or fairy wrasses (take your pick)

Just be careful with the marine betta, i think they eat crustaceans. But then again alot of fish are said to do so but never do, so take it with a grain of salt.

I have a Marine Betta in my reef. It took over 2 years for it to overcome its shyness and show itself when the halides are on. Definitely not a centerpiece fish.
