Help! Hippo tang has become a clam nipper!

So my bully damsel died and now my hippo tang thinks she owns the place. She's started nipping at my 9'' deresa and I am worried she is going to kill it -- does anyone have any techniques to change clam-nipping behavior?

I've tried feeding more and moving the clam, nothing seem to help.

Remove the clam or remove the hippo.

Try smacking her with a stick every time she goes near the clam. It worked on my emerald crab.

umm...I'm really not a horrible person, but I was desperate.

if it is a little one id take it from you, i am looking for a small hippo. and leslie thats so funny cuse i had or tried to do it to one of my peppermint shrimp cause it wouldnt leave a feather duster alone. { peppermint won }
