i believe the yellow coris will eat ornamental shrimp.

I would say 50/50 on your chances, however since most coris are pretty small and shrimps are usually of a decent size they won't harm your shrimps.
Of course things might change once the coris reaches its full size.

I have a yellow coris that is 1.5" and I have two 3" cleaner shrmps.

My yellow "cory" is living with a banded coral shrimp and leaving it completely alone....of course, the shrimp has antennae that are 3 times as wide as the length of the wrasse...but I think they are a problem only with small shrimp like peppermints.....Take care, Eric

..

I love wrasses and learned it the hard way. Kept some that were too agressive eatting my live stock like it was snack.

Do alot of reading and u will be alright.:groupflip

My yellow fin fairy acts a little agressive towards my cromis but does not hurt it too much just chases it around my tamarin wrasse is in love with my yellow fin.
Planning on adding a cleaner wrasse, and may be another fairy wrasse.
Of course I choose them paciently because I have losts of ornamental shrimp and planning on adding more. Just chose the 1nz that are not agressive towards the (expencive) inverts and u 'll be good to go.
I might be wrong so dont relly on my opinion.
