Sorrry to hear that - what a nice fish - so beautiful yet so fragile -

and on other accounts you can cook your rock and algae will still grow on it. WTF?

Sad. The super-male fairy wrasses always seem to be much more delicate than the females and juvi. males. I'll keep my fingers crossed with mine. It likes to cower, but will come out, swim about, eat and pose, then hide again. it is being mildly harassed, but not beaten on. RD

it didnt eat here...but it was only here for 2 days...non eating for 2 days should not have caused this...its just sad

Randy - Mikes Flame definitely didn't seem shy and wasn't letting the others bully him. After he was acclimated he dropped down into the rocks for just a few minutes and then was back out showing off all the time I was there. It clearly looked like he was going to be the 'alpha' fish as even the Checkerboard backed off when the Flame faced him.
There had to be some other dynamic at work on what happened to this beautiful fish.
