I cannot find any authoritative information stating copperband buttefly fish prefer christmas rock over aptasia. Please help me with a link, would you?
I doubt you can find much about it PREFERRING XMAS ROCK over aptasia even though I DO KNOW it will (like I told you before, I actually have seen CBB eating worms long before I own my first tank) pick on fan-like worms at times. Remember my CBB even eat my flame scallops' tentacles?. I bet you cannot find much info about this either. Interestingly, one time the search engine does find my thread about the CBB eating scallops' tentacles sighting. As I always say, any animal would become kind of a psycho udner captive environment. You just never know.

BTW, I am not saying all (or ingeneral) CBB prefers xmas rock over aptasia or CBB will definately eat scallops' tentacles. It may be just one strange occasional incident that yours PREFERS my xmas rock over aptasia.

Wingnut, research tells you that the diet of this fish(x) consists of inverts including fan worms (y) the end result is a fish with a full stomach (z). Now I will put it in simplified terms for you as not to confuse you:

x + y = z

Any questions?

Have a nice day!

Me and Waterplant are talking about the PREFERENCE of one diet over the other and you are talking about CBB will eat both. Waterplant and me know that CBB eats both. No need here to continuously try to mislead other people that I don't know about this common fact.

BTW thanks for your continuous interest in my posts.

Any time wingnut.

Think of it as a buffet type of mentality for the CBB he gets to pick and chose his diet in that tank. Next on his list may be Zoanthids, GSP, oh how about a clam or a scallop today? Well then there's always the aptasia.

Sorry to have confused you.

We are talking about the PREFERENCE issue specifically rather than will it eat both in general terms.
