CBB Eye Help

I just noticed my CBB has something wrong with his left eye.
there is a cloudy spot inside the lens. the left eye seems like
it might be slightly larger than the right eye now.
he is having trouble seeing, when fed he is only grabbing about
half the food he goes for, and he is no longer swimming around
all the time. he is only coming out when the food is in the water.:headache:

is there anything i can do for him?

any idea what it is and how it happened?

I am no expert but I have had this happen sometimes when the salinity was a bit high. I know some fish are susceptible to salt deposits (even with acceptable salinity levels) which is harmless but causes them to be timid until it clears yp. That's my $.02.

Someone more "schooled" in fish ailments may have something more concrete.

I have one of my bluee chromis tear his lens almost completely off - he healed over the coarse of a week and is fine - he too was not coming out as often.

I fed garlic 4x that week and he healed up.

If the left eye continue to bulb bigger, it needs medication with antibiotics. Kidney bacterial disorder.

I guess no need for me to go thru the procedures.

If the infection is light, it will go away in time with good water quality.

Any update on the fish J? How's it doing?

the "cyst" inside the eye has gone away.

but the eye still looks a bit larger than it should.
