my fish has a bad eye

so i have a small chalk bass one of his eyes is real puffed out, still very clear just looks like a big bubble on his eye. so what could this be and what should i do? unable to post a pic now, cant download from my photo card for some reason. always something.

Did you mentioned only one eye? If so, sounds like kidney disorder-most likely bacterial infection.

it's usually bacterial but it can also be trapped air. Trapped air will appear like a bubble stuck to the eye while the "pop-eye" is bacterial and may cloud the eye.
