i have had an orange back, lubbocks, melanarus, fairy wrasse with inverts. the only one i had attack anything was the mel. he attacked a freshly acclimated cuc full of snails and hermits. it never touched cleaner or fire shrimp. the rest could care less about anything in the tank. the leopards are beautiful but may be difficult to get eating, do a search on them before getting one

Thanks for the advise. I looked into the redline a little bit nice looking fish but its considered reef safe with caution and could eat shrimp per live aquaria. I will look into the others mentioned. I originally wanted to get the melanarus but read that it will wipe out my cuc and shrimp. I had an exquisite but I think it got stressed from my tangs and only made it about 4 months.

Thinking about getting a male and female red head solon wrasse from live aquaria. Anyone have experience with these fish? Now I'm concerned my tangs won't be so kind to the new addition I have a yellow, blue hippo and powder brown any suggestions on how to keep them calm and unaggressive without moving rock work?

I have kept the 6 Line Wrasse (Pseudocheilinus hexataenia) and the Mystery Wrasse (Pseudocheilinus ocellatus) in large reef tanks with no problem. I also had the added benefit of the 6 line wrasse picking parasites off other fish when it was a juvenile. The Mystery Wrasse is relatively expensive so if your on a budget i suggest the 6 Line wrasse.

I have a mystery, Naoki and melanurus in a 150g. The Mel has basically wiped out my snails but (so far) leaving a clam and my cleaner and blood shrimp alone. The shrimp are pretty good sized. All three of them leave the corals alone (mix of lps and sps).
