Is there already a thread for that? I would like to know which sw fish to avoid in the open top cylinder I'm gettin next month..

lol you got a new thread daily....I think all fish are jumpers if given a reason to.. So if you can put a cover just to be safe

Ting is, im wonderin how all those tanks out there keep fish with the top wide open and the water level just an inch or two from the rimless rim

I've lost too many fish already even through tiny openings in canopy in the past- esp hawkfish(suitably named)

make your self a screen 1/4" mesh cover, their is a thread on it i think by kathy c.
better safe than sorry.

All fish can be jumpers...I've even found pipefish crispy crunchy on the floor. But wrasses are undoubtedly the worst. I won't keep them anymore...it's always been their inevitable fate, even though there is barely any space for them to jump out of.
