Right now I have a sohol in my tank. 180 gallons display (with 75 gal sump) with a naso blonde tang and a couple other fish i had a dussumeri tang which the sohal kept in the corner n slowly beat up, right now i c him chasing my gold flake angelfish n some bar gobies im not sure what i should do
I have a friend that has a black tang 6" and he wants to trade with me for my sohal tang
I want to no if the black tang is gonna be worth having over other fish in the future such as purple tang Achilles tang and the chevron or should i get em all :) jk

sohal can be nasty and seems like its living up to the hype...i would try and get him out unless of course you are attached or like that one better than the other tank mates. I think it will be brutal to anything new you add to tank. they are sweet looking fish though, not sure i would keep it

Price wise the Black tang is worth more than the Sohal, butt the Sohal is a much better looking fish. As for the Black tang, as they get larger they develop a long nose and are quite ugly lookingn not as black as smaller ones. It wouldn't cause any problems with the fish that you currently habve. The Chervon also gets very dark when it gets large too, almost black. Aslo, a 180 is too small of a tank for a Sohal, and for that matter a Dussimeri tang, if its truly a Dussimeri. And Sohal, once they get over 8" you need to be careful with what other Tang you put them in with, as they will become very aggressive and in the long run they do better with lg Angel, Triggers and Grouper.
