I added a pistol shrimp with a goby approx 2 weeks ago and I haven't seen either? I observed the pistol the first night go to work and begin to make a couple of holes in the sand but haven't seen either one after a day or two. When I feed I look to see if either comes out but nothing. I think they are dead? Too long without coming out to eat, they are housed w/4 small chromis, 4" Sailfin tang, 3" mystery wrasse, and a 2" filefish.

My ywg hid for about 3 months before poking its head out. About a year later, I got a gold head goby which is very social and seems to have shown the ywg that it's ok to come out. The two of them now cruise around together.
