I've got a couple of them, different tanks, and both have been pretty hardy. One is from Fuji, which I've had about 1 year, the other I just got and it's from Cook Island. They will eat almost everything that I place in the tank, so getting them to eat isn't a problem. They're not super aggressive, though they will chase some of my other wrasses from time to time but nothing to the point of where they're trying to kill them. Size wise they're fairly larger than some of the other wrasse, so I don't think you're going to find out that is small.

Over the past 20+ years, I must have tried about 6x anywhere from Greenwich Aquaria to Live Aquaria and they do not live long for me. Have tried Aussie more then once, Fiji and Cooks Island.
Wondering if trying from Diver's Den is the way to go since they proactively treat them besides conditioning them to eat in captivity. I see a couple of Cooks Island on the site now.

The one that I have from Fuji came from the Diver Dens and I've had it for about 1 year and it is doing very well. The other one (Cook Island) was just purchased off of their web site and it doing very well too, though I just had it for a short time. I think the thing about getting a fish off of the Diver Dens is that not only do they treat the fish but they make sure it's eating, couple that with the fact that they usually have the fish in their system for quite a while gives it a much better chance of surviving.

Of the two that they currently have on the Diver Den the one that they listed first looks very similar to mine. They also have a really nice Yellow-Flanked Fairy Wrasse on Diver Den too, I have one and it very hardy, though a little of the shy side.

Thanks Mike.
I was looking at the one from their regular selection and put it in my cart, took it out, put it back into the cart then took it out again. It was a $60 difference from the one on their DD list and I wasn't sure if it would be a super male but I'm glad that it did come as a super male to you.
Are you keeping the Fiji & Cook's together or in separate systems?

I order it as soon as they listed them, so I probably got one of the larger ones that they had. They probably still have large one left through the website, as I can't image that they got in that many, and they're still listed as available after all this time, plus the two on DD where there for quite sometime, and rare fish usually move pretty fast on the DD. So the demand probably isn't that high.

I have the two in separate tank, the larger Cook one in my 90gal reef, and the smaller Fuji one in my 60gal Fowlr cube. I think the 90gal is a little small for the one that I have it in, but it seems to be OK.
