Female Squareback Anthias

so i bought a male and a female squareback anthias. it was the only male in the tank, and it was with like 8 females. the female i got is orange.yellow like its supposed to be, but it has a pale square on its side. all the female pics ive seen online dont have the square.

what do u think?

If the female has a square, it's probably changing to a male.
