I got the purple firefish but sad to say I dont see it much...always hiding and only comes out feeding time.

I personnaly found that keeping one and two firefish(not sure about purple firefish-I ain't not so rich) is not healthy to that spieces. If you add a small school like 4 of them all at once, they will most likely stay out all the time.

If kept singularly, the fish will be very stressed and hide all day long. When keeping two, they usually fight to death and when adding a bunch they like to school. When they school they do not tend to be afriad of the bigger fish while in captivity.

kris you won't be disappointed if you go w/ wrasse. be warned these guys jump. i have plexiglass covering the back half of the tank and somehow two have managed to jump out. i would blame it on my male lyretail anthias. ever since i got two females he's become very aggressive.

Harlqeuin Shrimp only eat live star fish! But they are cool-looking, that's for sure. Get a Sexy Shrimp instead.

I put up gutter guard along the back of the tank today, doubt anyone will be making an exit from the tank Good lookin out tho

i loved my yellow clown gobies before my mantis got them! so active and always on the move.

i also had a purple firefish- it was always out and rarely hid...and then my mantis got that too

i need to get this guy (i know i've complained about him for a long time)- I just don't want to tear apart my tank!!!
