P. ventralis in their new 30g. home.
I had a crisis of confidence about releasing the P. ventralis trio into my large reef ( too many larger fish showing too much interest in them in acclimation) so I decided to set up a 30g. display to feature them. I combined the fish and inverts from my son's 12g. Nano. Here they are moments after introduction playing nicely with their new friends the cave basslet L. Mowbreyi and a pair of Sanjay's black Photon Clowns.

I would consider trying them again, but would need to really think through the system design etc. as I'm really not sure what went wrong. I think they are generally to be avoided by all but the most experienced and dedicated fish keepers. And for reference, I've been in this game for nearly 20yrs. and have had moderate success with "difficult" fish and find these a challenge.
