I've had a pair of ocellaris (spelling) clowns for 1.5 to 2 years that have survived a freak snowstorm and two hurricanes. I finally upgraded my tank to a nice cube and decided the next fish I would add was a Harli tusk. It's about 4" the clowns are 2" each.
First few days everyone got along great, last night I was by the tank and the fish came toward the top I guess looking for food or whatever. The tusk began smacking into one of the clowns and at one point began to nip at it, then appeared to "drag it" by its tail fin for few inches until I tapped the glass and scared the fish.
I didn't notice any scarring or brushing on the clown, is this normally territory behavior or should I re think the stocking idea.
It's a 150 g set up approx 150 or so pounds of live rock or so. Plenty of hiding spaces
