Need to see the tail better, they male lunate wrasse has multiple variations even in the transition phase. The tail is the most helpful in identification if it is a lunate. It very well could be something else. My lunate didn't have full black on the upper and lower fins until it had a full yellow belly.
you got real beauty thow
depends on what it is exactly. If it is a lunate, they are on the rare side, you don't see many of them around. They do pop up from time to time. How much did you pay for it?
It looks like cf. lanceolatus to me, but it is hard to tell. Regardless of exact species, it is certainly "rare" and pricey.
