Need to see the tail better, they male lunate wrasse has multiple variations even in the transition phase. The tail is the most helpful in identification if it is a lunate. It very well could be something else. My lunate didn't have full black on the upper and lower fins until it had a full yellow belly.

Depends on what it is exactly. If it is a lunate, they are on the rare side, you don't see many of them around. They do pop up from time to time. How much did you pay for it?
