After years of reading posts about 6 line wrasses, I would never, ever get one. Easily 90% + of them eventually turn super nasty to their tank mates.

If you are hell-bent on getting one for their looks- there IS a fish called a Cryptic 6 line wrasse. It is much smaller than your typical 6 line, as nicely colored but it doesn;t have the nasty temperment. They are not easy to find though :(

If it's a mystery, it doesn't need to be the last fish. If you go with the 6 line, then yes.

Eggcrate is (unfortunately) not a good choice as a way to stop fish from jumping. For one, it is surprising just how big a fish can get through that stuff if they jump through on the diagonal. I learned this one day when my Royal Gramma went sailing past my head.

The second point is eggcrate will reduce how much of your lighting actually gets to your tank/corals..by somewhere around 30%.

Many of the members here make a screen top for their tanks, easy enough to do and it doesn't reduce the lighting :)
You can see how to do it here...
