I have had my clown fish for about 3 months (or longer) in a 10 gal with inverts. When i first bought the clown fish i noticed that one had something wrong with its mouth (looked like an abrasion above his mouth and swelling) but it was feeding and acting normal so i didn't worry just assumed that it get into a fight before i bought it.
About a week ago i noticed that it was swimming into rocks on day and during feeding would just drag its face along the bottom (when he use to feed normally). Now he just sits on the bottom most of the time or floats on top behind the outflow of the filter.
Nothing has changed in the tank and the other clown fish and inverts are doing great so im sure its nothing wrong with the water quality (especially since he has always has something wrong with his mouth).
Is there anything i can do to help him?
