6-7 green chromis???

What are the chances of adding 6-7 green chromis to my reef tank(80g) and having long term success??

I want to start stocking my tank up I want fish that always move around. Right now all I have is 2 plat clowns and 2 chromis that I added from the start
Any suggestions ??

I can't be the only person to have success with these fish. Feed heavy...

I have 4 of em for 2 months now , I feed twice a day and have plenty other fish an all is well knock on wood.
2 clowns
1 sawtooth tang
1 baby hippo
1 yellow tang
1 sailfin tang
1 bi colored blenny
1 diamond goby
1 malanarus wrasse
2 springer damsels
4 chromis

try anthias ( not sure if thats how its spelled)..they school nicely

i have both chromis and anthias, both are in trios and add well to the energy of the tank.
I've never had any trouble with keeping them in my history of tanks.
I actually see chromis as the goldfish of sw tanks as it relates to hardiness and ease of keeping them. I was not aware that some people have had issues.

though, I wouldn't add 6-7 if only for diversity sake. 3-4 of any one fish type seems more than enough.

I'm going to try the chromis. I've been reading alot and there snd many mix reviews on it.
The only problem with anthias is thAt there hard to feed.

Chromis are fun to watch and Tunicata is dead on about the energy and reef apeal they lend , and they are cheap as hell so why not , give it a shot

Sorry Dre, Over the past 20+ yrs, I've had them in various tanks, including a 170g, a 300g and my 450g, I overfeed at least 3x a day, and they still disappear 1 by 1.
Cheap...yes ...but I don't want any more, even for free!

Ok then no chromis. How about anthias? What's the easiest that will eat comercial food?

Lyrtail anthias. Get all females then watch the dominant one turn male. Very cool

A year ago i started off with 17 chromis in my 200, today i have 3 left.
I would go with bartlett anthias, i have one in my tank, they are hardy and will eat anything you throw in the tank.
