Viewing my Blue Throat Trigger in my tank is like almost watching the Lochness Monster siting. Whenever it's out I find myself staring at it in awe because it is never out. I even at times tell my wife not to move because of it. This guy is so shy and it's really annoying. He comes out and eats any food that's left over and any sign of me or my wife moving.... it goes right back in. I have added an Achilles tang with it, and my achilles seem to be coming around slowly and slowly everyday. Is there a faster way I can earn the trust of my BlueThroat? All my other fish come to me when I am near the tank because they know food would be dropped in, or think so lol. But my bluethroat treats me like a the killer of all fish. Any help would greatly be appreciated. Thanks!

Thanks for the quick replies!
I have a 120gallon high and it's a male bluethroat trigger that I had for about 2 weeks. I don't want to add a female bluethroat because i do have enough fish, but if all else fails i can add 1 more fish.
I currently have, 1 Achilles, 1 Purple Tang, 3 Bartletts Anthias, 2 clowns, and 1 Mandarin Goby.

My Purple Tang was bullying my Achilles a lil bit until my Achilles realized it was bigger than it lol. They both get along now but my blue throat is still terrified of me or maybe my purple tang, but my bluethroat is bigger than it too...

In my experience Blue throat triggers are extremely shy in the beginning more so with that PT in the tank. Give it time. Not sure that a female would help.
