In my 20gal I have only one fish, an azure damsel. He is a spunky little fish and I like him because he's always busy, always comes to front to eat and he was $5:cheers:

The tank is BB and open-top, Looking for something that looks nice and will work on little bits of green hair algae, a nice blenny?

or if not a maintenance worker than possibly a dotty back

So I stopped in at a LFS ( 65st and corner of 8th ave) and he had a super bright magenta dottyback which was exactly what I had came for. Little timid because he was finishing up his QT but I took him anyway.

IN the past before introducing any fish to the tank I use a mirror to get them spunky ( so if they have trouble in my tank they're primed), the dottyback has some balls for being a tad underweight !

Threw him in he was hanging out and when I stepped back the azure damsel cahrged him and forced him to retreat deep into the rock ( I can't see him ) and now only comes out at night because the azure patrols the scape during the day ...

I like them both but at this point I can see the magenta not eating for awhile until he croaks and I wish to avoid, am I seriously going to have to move this prick azure ?

My Azure is by far one of the most peaceful damsels I have ever had....it has a small territory inside a large coral that it will defend against other, but doesn't chase them any further unlike the dottyback and other more aggressive species...
