Checkboard wrasse

Anyone have any expierence with this wrasse? Im looking to get some more fish for my setup but just working fish. I know they get large but they also are great pickers ive read

They're kind a hard to keep, so you do need a good size tank with some peaceful tank mates. You need to make sure you have sand, as they like to dive into the sand, sometimes not coming out for days.

yeah im a bit concerned with my melanarous wrasse. he does not like new wrasses that i introduce. he killed my leopard wrasse

They are in the Halichoeres family of wrasses, they can get 11" in the wild and have a peaceful temperment. They do need a sandbed for hiding
