Need help Identifying Anthias

I cannot figure out what kind of Anthia I have can any of you help

Would you happen to know if its male or female and where i could order the opposite of what i have for a pair

It is a male. Females are not hard to come by. Pseudanthias squamipinnisis the species. By far the easiest anthias to care for.

Hard to tell definitively, but yes he looks pretty good.

If you are going to get a female, I would get 3 or 4 of them as they do better in harems than in pairs.

I had planned on it right now i have 2 clownfish a yellow tang a hippo tang a one spot fox a watchman goby a mandarin goby and my anthias in my 125 with a 40 gallon refugium and 16 gallon wet dry sum with 2 power heads and an extra filter...I really want to add an angle and a butterfly butbnot sure yet cause I want all my fish to be showpiece fish

Hard to tell from the pic but he looks a little skinny. What and how often are you feeding him?

I just got him 2 days ago and he gets fed 3 times a day and i feed spectrum and a mesh of different types of things meat wise like shrimp and oyster

Sounds good. Accepting pellets is a good sign.
