dwarf lion fish will only eat live food

ok so i got a dwarf lionfish exactly 13 days ago and it will only eat live food , so far it has only ate a minnow and a tetra , it wont eat anything frozen such as silversides etc , any suggestions ?

Don't feed live anymore and hold the silversides infront of it until it eats that. My friend got his to eat pellets, crazy

Get some live ghost shrimp, start using a tong to feed the live food to him.... Once he starts getting comfortable eating from the tong switch it up on him with some frozen, he will eventually take the frozen...

And then once he starts eating the frozen from the tongs, you will eventually be able to just drop the food directly in the tank..

mine i had eating frozen misis shrimp along with freeze dried krill.. he ate that from day one of me having him though just giving different food suggestions

Try putting the live food in a fish net and let him go into and eat. Do this for a week or so the change the live food to frozen. Jiggle the net to stimulate movement and this should trick him into eating. This has worked for me in the past. Eventually after doing this for awhile he will just eat the frozen normally
