Hey guys, I just got a Blonde Naso Tang Yesterday hes about 4 1/2 inches I also have in the tank the following
-7-8 inches Blue hippo tang, 7-8 inches sailfin tang, 2 clowns, 4 inch yellow tang, 4-5" wrasse, in a 155 gal
I acclimated him for about 1.5 hours and turn off the lights and left it pitch black over night. the Blonde Naso tang was swimming back and fourth and his color was on the light side of gray... Normally the sailfin tang is the one to swim all over the tank when lights are off but he was on the corner all night, until this morning when lights turn on they seemed fine and swimming all together, then i notice the sailfin tang picking on the Blonde naso a little bit.. and after that the Blonde Naso its just staying in a corner and not swimming around the tank... He's also on the Dark side of gray & Looks stressed
Any suggestions?

Thanks a bunch

If you just put it in yesterday, you will need to give it some time. It is not out of the ordinary for the fish to hide for a couple days...

+1.

This is specially true for a Naso who is very easily bullied and are very skittish in the beginning. Give it sometime, it will be OK.

I will also watch the yellow tang very carefully. They can get very territorial with new tangs.

Good luck!

Thanks guys! he started to come out more with live brine shrimp..
I have another question maybe you guys can help with a BLUE JAW TRIGGER i have him for about 6 weeks now and I never seen him eat, at first he use to come out but my BLUE HIPPO TANG was giving him a hard time, then he would come out about 2 times a day for a couple of minutes or so, but he now has almost a week hiding and i try to out all kinds of foods his way like, Frozen and live brine shrimp, silver sides, and about 3 different types of frozen food, even fresh clams and nothing.. I assume he has to be eating something because he is still alive but I have not yet seen him.
Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance
