I was always told that two Sunbursts if not mated will fight...I have a large Sunburst for awhile now and didn't want to take the chance with one the same size because of the fighting issue so I found a real small one. I assumed a much smaller fish wouldn't be seen as a threat and it worked. The larger stayed on one side of the tank and the smaller to the other ignoring each other, but after few months the smaller has really started to grow and color up. It's a brigher yellow and pinker than the larger one. Since it colored up they now are hang out in the same cave most of the time together with no fighting at all...

thanks everyone...I have the large for almost a year and the smaller about 3-4 months and Randy thanks for the compliment, but I'm far from the King...I just lost my Purple Queens after 10 months and Tiger Queen soon after..one day their out eating fine and the next gone
