be careful with that foxface in there!
how long are all those fish in QT...were they all added at the same time?

Firstly, thanks for approving the video. Also thanks you to marrone whom I Pm'ed.

Now to anser your questions ..

Tank is setup for 5 weeks. It is a 125G with a SWC 160 skimmer and 150lb LR and two AC 110.

What is it about the foxface you wanted to warn about?

Thanks again.

The spines on the Fox Face are poisonous and you will get stung if you come in contact with them, so you need to be careful when you place your hand in the tank to feed the fish.

Ahh! Yes. The real issue is that my achilles will not eat unless I do this.
I started this routine for her and now everyone is hooked to it. I know I am spoiling them but then you always have one fav fish and that would be my achilles in this tank ..

I really appreciate the feedback.

Thanks again to both of you.

every time you add a new fish to the QT, ALL the fish need to stay another ~4 weeks+...
also in a true QT you do not want a lot of LR...not good with meds, and makes it hard to remove the fish, when they're ready for DT!

The fish will stay in the QT till May second week. That means 10+ weeks. I am in no rush. The LR is in there since I want this QT to convert into a FOWLR eventually. Once I start doing the WC from the DT into the QT I will slowly start rearranging the LR into one island...

Well I do have a plan but we will see how it works.

THE problem with the liverock is if you have to use copper to rid fish of ich is the rock will absorb the copper and will also leach it out so you will never get a true reading of how much copper you used in the tank.also you will never be able to use the rock in any reef tank.what people do is use fittings made out of pvc for there hiding spots

Thanks Duke. Yes I am aware of that. However as I said the rock in this tank will stay in this tank and will never go in my display. Having so much rick was intentional. I had 6 - 7 tangs to treat and had no other option to setup a large QT which could make them feel at home.

With a purple, yellow, achilles, powder and mustard tans the PVC is just not enough..

sweet video.

for your achilles, have you tried blood worms or mysis soaked in Selecon? my AT goes nuts over both.

QT-ing that many fish in one tank is tough. once you add copper, some fish might not feed and it will throw everything off.
