+1 Andy except I would suggest trying something like Arctipods to try and entice him. The pods tend to get everywhere in the tank and if it isn't coming out to feed it might get close enough where it will take a few and at least start it getting more comfortable in the tank where it can feed normally.

What other fish is in the tank with it? Is it being harassed?
Have tried algae sheets such as Nori? I never had this problem with my blue throats. Best wishes to you & your blue throat.

Today I tried feeding it cocktail shrimp ONCE AGAIN with the coral feeder and at least thank god he's not scared of it! Mostly all my other fish are lol

He goes after it and nips it .. I put a little piece of shrimp and he took it but spits it back out after 2 seconds

Tried many times and he does the same thing.. Takes it and spits it out

I'll try and soak it with garlic to see if he likes it better

The only fish he's having a little problem is with the KING OF THE TANK

The yellow tang... Sometimes they go and have their small arguments but nothing big... I think he's more scared of ME :[
When I put my face in front of the glass he tends to hide or go to the back of the tank

I know that it is your Blue Throat that you are having the problem with. I just asked if you feed the tangs algae sheets, because tangs are vegetarians. I was just wondering if you were feeding vegies, and he was also not eating the vegies.

They really need them.:) IMO, they do better.;) I get the Nori sheets at the Asian Market.

Try the algae sheets, may be he'll eat that.

Yes I substitute the sheets with the actual macro Alvaro throw a little bit attached to a small piece of rock and my yellow tang loves it

I didn't know triggers like those algae sheets
I'll try that and see

OK so my blue throat is finally eating!
He's been eating for about 8 days now
And not shy at all..

I guess it was a matter of him getting comfortable with everyone in the tank

Now he eat pellets, mysis shrimp and his favorite raw cocktail shrimp
He's very active now thank god
