Hey fellow MR members need help had a Naso tang now for about two weeks he is not eating the food i drop in the tank i believe that he is eating some types of algae in the tank but don't know which one, Ive tried to get him to eat the algae sheets and he doesn't touch them green, red, brown and purple what can i do also tried mysis, brine, brine with spirulinia, rods reef food, cyclops, nothing i don't wanna loose him, he's very beautiful.

Same here, had my blonde naso about 2 weeks. I see him pecking and rocks and the sand. Hopefully there's enough there for him. I know he sees the food cause it blows right by him. Hopefully they just take a bit longer to adapt. Had him in my qt tank and didn't eat much there either. He looks healthy

what's up monte! try gracilaria guys! it's a red seaweed can be hard to find but any lfs should be able to get it. tangs go craazy for this stuff! i had the same problems with my blonde naso! after they get accustomed to eating they start eating like pigs!
