Have u tried a piece of that algae sheet rubberband onto a small piece of rock n see if he goes for it.
Had the same problem with a blond naso, when it was first in QT... Put caulerpa from my sump, rubberbanded to a rock and it was gone every morning! Within a week or 2, he was eating everything!

Oyster eggs are way too small for the fish to grab even if it wanted to. It's way too small for most corals even.

How long have you had the fish?

How big is the tank?

What other fish are in the tank?

Ive had him for about A week and he's in 90gal there is a Koran angel, snowflake eel, percula clown, and some assorted damsels and Ive tried dropping the algae in the tank with the algae clip just sitting on the bottom of the tank and when i first got my angel he did the same thing but only for a few days until i figured out what he liked i was thinking about putting garlic into the tank when i feed
