So my main display tank has recently got ich. So i took out as many fish i could. Which was only my 2 snowflake clowns. I put them in my qt and dosed mardel coppersafe. Im wondering how to eliminate the ich in my DT. Taking the fish out is not an option as I cannot catch them. Is there any reef safe medicine and how can i fully cure my clowns of ich?

don't treat the mandarin. you will likely kill it. as for its ability to host ich, it's a numbers game. generally they are very resistant to it, even when they are weak. i would bet against your mandarin catching or hosting ich. i personally would keep him in a separate dt with no meds and no hypo.

I can probably catch my firefish and manderin dragonet. But my goby and damsel will be hard

Have you looked into freshwater dips at all? They brought my clown back from the dead with the first dip. It may have been just luck but it worked for me.

As with everything research first.

It was luck. FW dips do not reach the Ich parasite that is buried under the 'skin' of the fish.

For those of you currently with fish in QT and are using copper as a treatment - do you have a copper test kit that is telling you the level of copper you have added to the tank? Without that reading, you can overdose/underdose the tank and that makes the treatment ineffective.

Take a look at this article ion Marine Ich to learn more:
